Sunsets and Red Stripes
This one-of-a-kind bar sits on stilts on a sandbar approximately 3/4 of a mile off the coast. To get there, visitors take a 20 minute boat ride from a local fisherman out to the bar. Cold Red Stripe beers flow all day long as visitors sit several feet above the sea or lounge around in the hammock. The Pelican Bar is a truly amazing place to watch the sunset, surrounded by the Caribbean Sea looking back at the South Coast and Santa Cruz mountains.
