Q.1 Do I need a passport to travel to Jamaica?
LYes. All U.S. citizens are required to have a valid passport in order to travel to and from Jamaica. Without a passport, you will be denied boarding your flight and risk forfeiture of your trip, so make sure your passport is ready ahead of time! For more information, visit the State Department Passport Information page.
Q.2 What should I pack?
Lots of sunscreen! No matter how tan you think you are, the Jamaican sun can burn you quickly. Besides sun protection, pack light and casual. Jamaica is a very laidback destination, and most travelers end up wearing shorts and flip-flops during their trip.
Q.3 Will my hair dryer or electric razor work in Jamaica?
Yes. The properties listed on our website have electric outlets that are compatible with standard U.S. electric plugs.
